Hmm--did you download it off of the yahoo site? The version linked from the
regular femm web page is still the previous version. The new version is at:
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/femm/files/setup30b4.exe
Because it isn't beyond me to include the wrong generation of files in the
distribution, I just downloaded this file and re-installed it on my
machine to make
sure that it's the right version. To make sure that you've downloaded the
right
file, it should report a March 7, 2001 build date when you bring up the
"About"
dialog from the help menu.

I'm just making this version available to the mailing list members for the
moment
to try and
sort out any oddities with the periodic boundary.
