Irfanview is at http://www.irfanview.com/. It is a very good bit of software and can be run from the command line so it may be possible to do a file conversion from inside a lua script.There is a nice graphic viewing program called "Irfanview" that you can use to view and then save the bmp files in another (more compact) format. This program is FREE. Google.com can probably find it.
