Dear David and Femm group, is it
possible to calculate the force between a ring permanent magnet with
rectengular cross-section and a cylindrical permanent magnet and also
between ring magnets themselves. Best regards.

Yes, you can calculate these forces with femm as long as the problem
stays axisymmetric (i.e. the axis that goes through the center of the
ring also goes through the center of the cylinder). If the magnets are
not in an axisymmetric (or 2D planar) arrangement, you'd need a 3D
solver instead.
