Hi,
Can anyone recommend sources for entry level information on the BEM
(applied to the Laplace Eq or the Helmholtz Eq). References to well
explained books / URL's would be a bonus!!

The one that I have is:

C. A. Brebbia and J. Dominguez, Boundary elements: an introductory course, New York: McGraw-Hill, 1989.

This is a pretty good book that applies the method to a lot of different types of problems.
