I'm working on a magnetizing coil with an impluse magnetizer.. the magnetizing coil is being designed for multipole magnet. I want to calculate the inductance of the lap winded coil i.e., the turns would be zig zag form on the side of a circular wall. couldu suggest me to model it in femm, the lap winding with the steel part and the magnet in it.

i would also like to get a help for lua. how to start in lua as i'm new to femm i couldn't get started with. i would be more helpful if i can get an example of lua scriting in magnetics.

Is there any formula for calculationg the surface induction of a magnet given the Br & Hc & no.of poles ?
