I thought that I'd put out a shameless plug for the 2001 International
Electric Machines and Drives Conference, to be held this June 17-20 at MIT
in Cambridge, Massachusetts (across the river from Boston). I'm on the
program committee, so I know first-hand that a lot of high-quality papers
have been submitted to the conference by researchers from all over the
world. And Boston is a nice place to visit in the summer....
The website for the conference was updated yesterday, now allowing online
registration.. The conference website is at:

participating in the Trade Show associated with the conference, there are
also instructions about who to contact on the website.
