All right, I wanted to "eyeball" myself, but I didn't have a Math 
package to get a cubic spline fit done. Luckily I found a set of 
freely 
available functions for Excel on this web site: 
http://www.netrax.net/~jdavita/XlXtrFun/XlXtrFun.htm
Maybe it's of some interest for others as well.
