RE: [femm] Steel properties



I am looking for a web site as well, but there is a book that covers the topic very well.
 
Look for Thompson...   Magnetic Properties of Materials.  The Library of Congress call number is QC761.T45.  etc.    The book was published in 1968 and should be in most engineering libraries.
 
I'm disappointed that the current American Society of Metals catalog doesn't include magnetic properties.  Most of the data sheets do not have the detailed information needed for designing magnetic circuits.
