RE: [femm] Animation Software

All of the methods described recently will work (and I have tried several of them) but I managed to make 4 72 frame animated gifs in a couple of hours over the weekend in the quickest and easiest way I have yet tried. 15 minutes of computing with FEMM for each (its a pretty simple linear problem), saving each femmview frame as an emf using lua. Just under a minute for Irfanview to convert them to gif and crop them at the same time (that's 288 images in under a minute). Followed by less than 2 minutes for each animation using unfreez. It used to take me two days to do just one 36 frame animation (before the days of lua) using screen capture, Photoshop to crop and Microsoft gif animator.

By far the most time is used in setting the problem up in the first place and writing the lua scripts.
