Re: FEMM Vs. commercial code

Hi all,
I've been following the dialog on FEMM Vs Commercial code. I've had FEMM for
nearly two years now. I also use MAXWELL from Ansoft. And I fully agree with
Keith on all counts. His point about the adaptive meshing, automated boundary
condition application, parametric features, Post Processor calculator -
performing Div, Curl, Grad operations on vectors etc being available in
Commercial code is right. But then, I've never felt handicapped with FEMM.
There is always a way out to get the same result from FEMM !!!

The question is "How much can you squeeze out of a FREEWARE ...?"
Good job Dave. Hats off to you !!
