Other improvements

David,

As long as we are on the topic of improvements....

How about looking into some way to handle tapewound
laminations? This would mean say a tapewound toroid
or rectangular core of something like Si steel or Metglas.
At present FEMM allows only specifying an orthogonal
lamination direction in X or Y directions or "in-plane".
This means that on-screen you would be looking
at the laminations on edge and they would follow
the shape contour and not be restricted only to
X or Y directions. I know this would be a big
programming headache, but it would help a lot for
some of us to get more realistic results for these
kinds of structures.
