Check out:

This is a command-line utility for chewing up the *.node and *.edge
file associated with a problem and spitting out a *.dxf file from that
info.

For example, if your geometry was stored in file.fem, the command line
to run the program would be:

dxfmesh file > filemesh.dxf

where the output would be piped to the file filemesh.dxf
