Re: [femm] Problem on DXF Output .
I think that the trick here is that acembuselik is having trouble
loading a DXF file created by femm into Autocad, rather than the other
way around (i.e. loading autocad-generated DXF into femm). I don't
actually own AutoCAD 2002, but I've tested the DXF output results from
various different geometries on Voloview, Autodesk's free viewer, as
well as TurboCAD. In all cases, the DXF files were read without any
errors.
Now, this certainly doesn't mean that something pathological isn't
going on. However, you might double-check about exactly how you
exported the DXF file. Make sure that you export to DXF by selecting
the "Export DXF" selection from the file menu of the preprocessor. If,
instead, you just did "Save As" and saved as a file named something
like "mymotor.dxf", a file with a .dxf extension would be
created, but it would contain information stored in the .fem file
format, which is different than dxf. Without an example, this is my
best guess as to what's going on.

Dear You,
I had a similar problem. If I can recall we solved it saving our files
as an AUTOCAD 14 file.
