I am investigating the heating effects of three phase current on the enclosure surrounding current carrying members (copper bus). The currents can be as high as 5000 or 6000 amperes. Does anyone have any suggested references on eddy current and hysteresis heating of bus duct enclosures. Has anyone out there done any femm modeling of bus duct enclosures? Any suggestions will be very welcome. Thank you.
