This would be a very easy thing to include.  There are a few lines at the
beginning of the ReadDXF function (in movecopy.cpp of femme) that clear out
any existing drawing.  It's possible to get the effect you want by just commenting
out those lines--perhaps I should change it so that it is that way by default
(i.e. doesn't clear out the existing drawing before the import).

I guess that it would also be useful to insert a .fem into an existing drawing,
rather than having to munge things together by hand.  This would probably
not be so hard to incorporate, either.
