I fixed this problem for someone a few weeks ago, but I forgot to upload
the fixed version to the website--whoops. The source and executable versions
on the website has now been revised with this fix.  If you just want the
version of the preprocessor with the DXF read fix, I've placed it at http://femm.berlios.de/femme.zip

One other caveat is that if you read in a long DXF file, the preprocessor
can take a while to digest it into a geometry that it thinks is valid.
